The Vision

From the beginning, the goal was clear: create a purpose-built garage that felt as refined and intentional as the home itself—while being strong enough to house a full-size RV year-round. The design focused on clean lines, generous proportions, and durability, ensuring the finished structure looked like it had always belonged on the property. A sketch and hand drawn plans were all that was needed to make this come to life!

Project Overview

  • Client: Private Homeowner

  • Size: 850 SF

  • Dimensions: 50’ x 17’ x 20’ high

  • Use: Dedicated RV storage

  • Location: Mead, CO

Scope of Work

This custom RV garage was designed and built to accommodate oversized vehicles with no compromises. Key features included:

  • Oversized commercial garage doors for effortless RV access

  • Upgraded concrete slab with 6” thickness over 4” of compacted gravel, complete with a moisture barrier

  • Structural framing utilizing LVL studs throughout, ensuring exceptional straightness, strength, and long-term performance

Every detail was executed with longevity in mind—from the foundation up.

Challenges

The primary challenge was timing. Final permit approval came later than anticipated, compressing the construction schedule. The homeowner’s goal was clear: completion before Christmas.

The Outcome

The result is a clean, solid, and highly functional RV garage that exceeds its practical purpose. The homeowner was ecstatic—proud to finally park his shiny RV inside a space designed specifically for it. The structure not only protects a major investment but adds lasting value and utility to the property.

This project started end of October and Finished 2 weeks before Christmas! 6 Weeks from Breaking Ground to Pulling in the RV.
